You probably don’t think about your brakes until they stop working. You should though because properly functioning brakes could save you from an accident which in turn could possibly save your life and the lives of others.
Don’t wait until the point where your brakes stop functioning. If you’re in or around Boca Raton, FL, and you feel like the brakes on your Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini Cooper, Porsche, or Volkswagen need repair or replacement, schedule an appointment at our shop, and our expert technicians will properly diagnose your brakes and repair them. We know repairs on a German made vehicle can be costly, but you can rest assured that you’ll spend way less (up to 50% less) by letting Boca Tech Auto Center fix your brakes instead of the dealer.
Our mechanics know everything about your German made vehicle’s brake system because we have seen every brake problem with every German made vehicle.
Below are some of the German vehicle brake services that we provide.

If you are hearing a high-pitched noise when you hit your German vehicle’s brake pedal, then your brake pads need to be replaced. This high-pitched noise is coming from your German made vehicle’s brake pad wear indicator which is designed to let you know when it’s time to replace your brake pads.
If you hear a grinding sound when you hit your vehicle’s brake pedal, that means your brake pads are worn down completely, and the metal part of your vehicle’s brake pads is making contact with and likely damaging the rotors.

When you hit the brake pedal on your German vehicle, if you feel a pulsation in your foot or your vehicle starts moving unevenly, then your rotors need to be replaced. Resurfacing is the less expensive option, but is unlikely because the rotors on German vehicles are thinner and made of a softer material which cause them to wear down faster.
You will also need new brake pads because new brake pads are needed whenever the rotors are replaced. Bring in your German vehicle, and we’ll measure the rotors to see if they need to be replaced.

Anti-lock Braking Systems became mandatory in 2011, and they allow drivers to steer while braking. If you see the ABS light illuminated on your German vehicle’s dashboard, this likely means something is wrong with one of the ABS sensors or wiring to them, and you will need to have your ABS looked at. In this case, we would use our ABS scan tool to find the issue.
Other signs of a faulty ABS include the wheels locking up, strange noises when hitting the brakes, inaccurate speedometer and/or odometer readings, and increased braking distance among other things. If there is something wrong with your German vehicle’s ABS module itself, we’ll need to repair or replace it.

Over time, brake fluid absorbs water from the air which lowers its boiling point and will eventually lead to brake failure. If your German vehicle’s brake fluid is dark brown or black, it needs to be flushed. If your vehicle’s brake fluid is dark or murky, parts of its brake system have corroded and the corroded metal has dissolved in the the fluid.
If you continue to drive with the contaminated brake fluid, your vehicle’s brake lines will eventually break, and your brakes will not work at all. If you want to avoid this nightmare, you bring your German vehicle to our shop in Boca Raton, and we can take a look at the condition of its brake lines.
There is no brake system problem on a Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini Cooper, Porsche, and Volkswagen that we can’t fix.
